Karen E. Clarke, Principal, Marketing ConceptsKaren Clarke is a Principal of Marketing Concepts, Inc. Ms. Clarke leads the agency's cause marketing, public policy initiatives, communication audits and campaigns for corporations, trade associations, professional associations, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations. She also has extensive experience in creating and managing strategic alliances, public-private partnerships and grassroots projects in Florida and other communities throughout the United States.

 

Ms. Clarke has worked on projects for clients including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Ford Motor Company, Sequoia Voting Systems, 1996 Flair Across America tour, the 1996 Olympic Torch Relay, National Cable Television Association, AT&T, Hertz Corporation, American Council of Life Insurance, South Florida Ford Dealers, Al Packer Ford, Florida AFL-CIO, Florida International University, American Express, USA NAFTA, National Cable Telecommunications Association, SMART PPN and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Metro-Dade. Ms. Clarke's organizing, event and promotional programs have received national recognition and awards including the Ford Motor Company's North American President's Award for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign in 2002.

 

She is an alumnus of Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2000 and currently serves a member of the Board of Directors. She is Past President of the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, a Director of the Girl Scouts of Palm Glades Council and has served several terms as an officer of Executive Women of the Palm Beaches. She was twice appointed to the Palm Beach County Housing Authority by Governor Chiles where she served as Vice Chair. Ms. Clarke is listed in Who's Who of American Women, a recipient of the 2010 Women In Leadership Award for Business and has a history of public service in Florida.

 

Ms. Clarke earned a B.S. from the University of Ohio with a dual major in History and Political Science. She received a M.Ed. from Florida Atlantic University. She is a Doctoral Candidate at Florida Atlantic University.
