Marty
Rogol is a founding Principal of Marketing Concepts, Inc.,
a marketing and communications firm that specializes in integrated
marketing campaigns, brand building, cause-related marketing
programs, strategic communications planning, issues and events
management.
Prior to creating Marketing Concepts, Inc., Mr. Rogol was
one of the architects and the founding Executive Director
of USA for Africa. While Mr. Rogol was Executive Director
the organization produced We Are the World ... mobilized over
7,000,000 people for its Hands Across America project ...
and raised almost $100,000,000. Mr. Rogol was responsible
for design of the corporate structure, overall strategy, project
development and operations management. He also oversaw the
organization's disaster relief operations in Africa.
Mr. Rogol has developed and managed numerous local, regional,
national and international events, organizations and projects
... for corporations, the music industry and organizations
concerned with public policy ... from Kenny Rogers to the
Earth Summit. He designed, planned and managed the operations
and logistics program for the 1996 Flair Across America Tour
and the inaugural Earth Train North American journey, an international
youth leadership training program sponsored by Coca-Cola,
Hyatt and Shaklee. Mr. Rogol has also served as Special Advisor
to the Governor's Forum on Developmental Disabilities (Florida)
and Special Consultant to the District IX Florida HRS Reorganization.
For a number of years, Mr. Rogol served Public Citizen as
energy and telecommunications lobbyist while simultaneously
serving as Director of the National Public Interest Research
Group.
Mr. Rogol has served as Communications Director for a number
of communication campaigns. He has also written a number of
feature articles, booklets, marketing campaign manuals and
was a columnist for the Earth Times.
Mr. Rogol has made national media appearances on Good Morning
America, The Today Show, Larry King Live, McNeil/Lehrer Report
and NPR's Morning Edition. He is the on-air Political Analyst
for WPBF-TV, the ABC affiliate for the West Palm Beach market.
Mr. Rogol serves on the Board of Directors of a number of
organizations. These include the G Star Charter School for
Film and Broadcasting and Leadership Palm Beach County where he also served as President. He
also chairs the Beautification Committee of the Town of Jupiter,
Florida.
Mr. Rogol earned a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati
and a Juris Doctor from the National Law Center, George Washington
University. He attended the Graduate School of Business at
the University of Maryland. Mr. Rogol is also a Florida Certified
Mediator.
